Rubber Speed Bumps Installation and Notices

Installation site:

Installation methods:

The installation method for common road: when installing the rubber speed bump on the common road surface, we usually adopt the standard massive arbitrary combination and the advanced “internal expansion anchorage technology” and fasten the speed bump onto the road surface solidly with screws so that it won’t loosen after the car hit on it.

The installation method for asphalt road surface:

1. Lay the speed bump flat and aligned with the road laterally, then place a semicircular tip at both ends of the speed bump.
2. Vertically punch a hole of 150mm depth on each mounting hole by using the percussion drill whose drill head is of 10mm diameter.
3. Hit the spike of 150mm length and 12mm diameter into the speed bump and ground to fix the speed bump.

The installation method for concrete road:

1. Lay the speed bump flat and aligned with the road laterally, then place a semicircular tip at both ends of the speed bump.
2. Vertically punch a hole of 150mm depth on each mounting hole by using the percussion drill equipped with 14mm drill.
3. Hit the internal expansion bolt of 120 mm length and 10 mm diameter into the speed bump and ground to fix the speed bump, then tighten the bolt with 17# internal hexagonal wrench.

 

The notices for installing the rubber speed bump:

1. Make a detailed inspection of the road surface and the geologic structure before installing the speed bump to ensure a safe installation.
2. The facility steel needed must meet the standard of national level. That is to say, the rubber adopted must be the natural rubber that is designated by the Traffic Administrative Department; and the reflective device must adopt the high strength level reflective film; make sure that facilities for spraying plastic and paint must be in insulation.
3. You need apply the standard matching accessories to make sure that the accessories are compatible with the major facility.
