Roadsky Dragon Boat Festival Gathering
On May 27, 2017, May 2, by lunar calendar, when is 3 days before the Chinese traditional festival–dragon boat festival, Roadsky held a gathering feast involving the whole staff with a view to celebrating happy festival time, promoting the unity and harmony of our company as well as enriching the cultural connotation of itself.
Dragon boat festival is one of the most cherished traditional festival by Chinese people, which falls on lunar calender May 5 every year. Legend has it that the festival is to commemorate the Qu Yuan, a great poet in Chinese history. People will eat the special traditional food–rice dumpling in the festival.
The lunch gathering was held in the place called Toronto Seafood Buffet, which serve various kinds of food and drink and we can all find our favorite food here. Everyone was greatly satisfied with the lunch experience.
After the lunch, we had a monthly meeting to summarize the progress made during the past month, discuss the future work plan and praise and award the outstanding employee.
At last, we all received the festival gift– a pack of delicious rice dumpling. This gathering not only enable us to enjoy the joy of festival time but also promote the bonding between our staff and the unity of Roadsky family.
